Statement of Faith
Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see. Hebrews 11:1
WE BELIEVE that there is one living and true God, eternally existing in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, equal in power and glory, and that this triune God created, upholds, and governs all things.
WE BELIEVE that the BIBLE is the only inspired, infallible and authoritative Word of God.
WE BELIEVE IN GOD THE FATHER, an infinite, personal Spirit perfect in holiness, wisdom, power, and love, and that He concerns Himself mercifully in the affairs of men. We believe that He hears and answers prayer, and that He saves from sin and death all who come to Him through Jesus Christ.
WE BELIEVE IN JESUS CHRIST, God's only begotten Son, conceived by the Holy Spirit. We believe in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, and in His miracles and teaching. We believe in His substitutionary atoning death, His bodily resurrection, and His ascension into heaven where He sits at the right hand of the Father. We believe in His personal, visible return to earth, and the establishment of His Kingdom.
WE BELIEVE IN THE HOLY SPIRIT, who convicts the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment, and who regenerates, sanctifies, and empowers for ministry all who believe in Christ. We believe the Holy Spirit indwells every believer in Jesus Christ, and that He is an abiding Helper, Teacher, and Guide. We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, and in the orderly exercise of all Biblical gifts of the Spirit.
WE BELIEVE that all PEOPLE are sinners by nature and choice, and therefore regeneration by the Holy Spirit is essential. We believe that repentance (turning away) from sin and acceptance of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior is the only way to come into relationship with God. We believe that Jesus Christ baptizes the seeking believer with the Holy Spirit to empower the believer for service, and that this often occurs after salvation.
WE BELIEVE in the resurrection of all people, both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto eternal life in heaven, and they that are lost unto eternal damnation in hell.
WE BELIEVE it is important to uphold the Scriptural practices of the early church. Therefore, we hold to the practice of water baptism and the regular taking of communion. We do not believe that either of these practices is essential for salvation, but that they serve as a demonstration of our living faith in Christ.

HONOR GOD
"Who is Jesus"?
Who is Jesus?
The Bible says that Jesus is GOD's one and only Son. He was conveived by the Holy Spirit and born of a virgin. He lived a perfect, sinless life in which He performed many miracles and taught how to live life to the fullest and then died on the cross in our place, rose from the grave as confirmation of all that He claimed to be, who He was, and what He would do. He is now seated at the right hand of the Father.
How to know God...
Recognize that you're a sinner.
First, you must admit your spiritual need: "No one is righteous - not even one" (Romans 3:10). We can't make excuses or blame others and our circumstances for our actions. "For all have sinned and fall short of the Glory of God" (Romans 3:23).
Realize that Jesus died on the cross for your sins
"But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners." (Romans 5:8). Jesus paid the price for your sin. The life which you now live, you must live by faith in Jesus, the Son of GOD, who loved you and gave himself for you (Galations 2:20).
Repent of your sins.
The word "repent" means "to change your direction". The Bible tells us, "Now repent of your sins and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped away" (Acts 3:19). God commands us to repent. You must be willing to turn away from the things that displease God.
Recieve Jesus as your Savior and make Him Lord of your life.
Jesus said, "Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28). It is necessary that you come to Jesus as you are. Don't try to "clean up your life" before you come to God. Instead, receive Him and allow Him to do the "cleaning". Jesus said, "...those the Father has given me will come to me, and I will never reject them" (John 6:37).
Are you ready to receive Jesus by inviting Him into your heart and into your life?
Pray:
Dear God, I have sinned against You. I want forgiveness for all my sins. I believe that Jesus died on the cross for me and rose again. GOD, I give You my life to change me from the inside out. I want Jesus to come into my heart and into my life. This I ask in Jesus' name. Amen.
